Well now...

I've always been a fan of your stuff - most notably because of your Heatman series and the fact that you're one of the last people on the planet that remembers Dynamite Headdy. ;P
I'm sorry to find out you're thinking of no longer making spritemovies.
Ohwell, there's a lot to be said for regular animating as well, huh. ;D
I hope you'll find as much, if not more joy in making something different with your talents, then when you did with your previous movies.
Speaking of talent.
This movie is, in one word, Awesome.
The cameos were plentiful, the effects were spectacular, and the humor was comedy gold.
I don't know much else to say about this, but... well done. VERY VERY well done, I'm most seriously putting this in my favorites.
Good luck on future endeavors. =P

It's a nice tribute/remake...

I didn't feel like it added much to the original in terms of content, though.
It was more detailed in some places, and then again... it wasn't.
For one thing, most animated features such as eyes, eyebrows and mouths looked a bit... out of place.
The "leaving home" scene... I see you added a teardrop coming from the woman's eye.
Again, I'm sad to say that the transparency looked out of place, like a clash of styles. A solid blue outlined tear would most likely have looked better in this style of animation.
Then there's the "coming home" sequence, where the facial expressions that made that scene as emotional as it was, were sadly lost.
And moreso... I really hate to nitpick like this, but... the part after the battle, where the guy flashbacks to his wife and child completely lost their synchronization to the music.
Again, I feel like one of those guys who has nothing better to do but to sit on his butt and nitpick everything he can find in a flashmovie, but this is one of my favorite works ever, and while I can see you really tried your best to improve on this, I sadly have to say that I didn't find it much superior to the original.
Aside from the added drawings. Those are awesome.

All in all, a bittersweet experience, that left me a bit dry in the mouth.
Again, the "eastereggs" were a nice touch. Very good drawings.

Hrmm.

It's well executed, that it is.
About as good as sprites can get, I suppose.
Sound use is allright, the fact that you used the old "Portal theme" got a bit of a snicker out of me... once I got over the initial shock, that is.
Yeah, it's not really my kind of humor.
I'm not a really firm believer in girls who are... equipped with stuff they're not supposed to have. ;)
Ahwell, I've read what you had to say about the other reviews, so I'm glad to know that this was just a one-go flash, and I hope to see something from you later that I will be able to enjoy more. =)
So you're low on inspiration, then? Well, I wish I could contribute anything useful, but... weh. If I have some sort of epiphany of an idea, I'll have you know, I suppose.

Alexisonfyre responds:

Thx. If you wanna team up for some work, just send me an e-mail we may come up with something.

Awesomeriffic.

Heh... A look in the world of videogame characters at school.
This is very nicely animated, the voices are rather decent, and the storyline is groovy. =)
Well scripted too, it does actually remind me of some sort of Saturday morning cartoon episode. =P
As a Sonic fan, one'd expect me to be a bit... saddened by the overall portrayal of everyone's favorite blue hedgehog in this.
Thing is... in a way, he's almost like me when I was still in school. So it's all good.
I cracked up at the Pacman sequence, by the way. That was really clever, and well thought out.
In fact, I think that can be said about the majority of this movie, including the casting.
No one should miss seeing Link as a jock, it's freaking hilarious. XD
Overall, definitely worth watching.

Haw!

Silly Chasmyr... it's not SUPPOSED to make sense. That's what it's randomness for. ;D

Love it, love it muchso.
I hope it makes it out of judgment, right now the score is a not-too-great 1.71.
Ahwell. You got my 5×5.21 vote, anyway. =)

IrMyke responds:

well thank you H_Hog...it seems that you have some flash experience to and well from what i can tell its an honor basically having you say something like that giving me a good score ... well anyway dude thanks (Y)<-(thumbs up in msn):)
MYKE

Awesome.

7Up. It gives the power for much asskicking.

Thanks to Kulock the Moogle, Edweirdo, and Yajirobe for letting us use their characters,
and thanks again to Kulock and Ed for voicing said characters.

Stay tuned for episode 16, folks!
Hope you'll stick around!

RogerregoRRoger responds:

I will

Hrm...

Reminds me of this animated picture I made once where Barney chased Sonic through Mushroom Hill zone. Hehe, those were good times.
For remembering me of that, I voted high.
I hope the actual movie will be better though, once it's done.

Small hint: If you want to actually use sprites of Barney, there's a game of him on Sega Genesis, a hide and seek one. It's what I used to make my picture. =P

Dude, you got some really fugged up dreams.

The scream at the end startled me a bit, kinda like that Kikia thing.
Thank god I'm used to that by now, otherwise I probably wouldn't have voted as high as I did now.
Nice surrealistic movie, I like it.

Great stuff!

I actually watched this before part one, which I'll check out now.
Groovy animation, decent voiceacting, and pretty dang hilarious.

But hey, I thought this was gonna be uncut. What's with the big hat? ;D (Heheheh.)
Ahwell. Awesome nonetheless.

THE ULTIMATE AWESOME.

I think the world deserves to thank you for this awesome display of awesome awesomeness.
Kickass frame-by-frame drawn animation, hilarious gags, decent action, and above-par voiceacting come together for an amazing movie that only really sour Sonic-hating people couldn't love.

Congratulations, you're a winner. ;D

RogerregoRRoger responds:

Above par voice acting?YOu didnt aim at Amy and rouge i may hope? They were awfull. But indeed, Shadow kicked ass, and espio, and sonic..Jup.Thanks for your support Hhog, youve been a great help!

Hey, I'm H Hog. I'm not too skilled in using Flash itself, but I dabble in some voicework for a few popular cartoons, mostly Sonic-related. You may have heard my voice in stuff like International Moron Patrol, Waffle X, or Frobman's Sonic in Brief series.
