Unbiased review lol?

Hi, it's me, the voice actor for Bob Havaar.

Let me say now, I'm very sorry about the less-then-spectacular job I did on some of the voices. I'm not sure if I really did a better job in episode 1, but if you guys say so...!
Particularly the battle sequence I could have done better on. I initially had more clips done for it, but the way Luckett went with it now works much better then the stuff I initially sent in.
I have little excuse for my blatant display of amateurism, other then that the wide array of lines was done over a large period of time, during differing states of mood and wellness.

Now that that's out of the way... That's some freaking awesome animation, right guys?

To remark on some reviews given; I noticed a lot of complaints were given on the voice; well, as I already said before, sorry about that. I'll do better next time.

Other remarks I noticed was about the lack of Episode 1's comedy.
Now, while I agree that episode 1 was indeed much more funny then episode 2, I feel it's also fair to state that, certain one-liners aside, episode 2's aim wasn't really based on comedy as much as action.
If I have to give an example, I suppose the series should be taken much like the often-compared-with Dragonball Z. While I'm imagining the focus of Waffle X will indeed be well more humorous then DBZ has been, please keep in mind that it'll be focusing on a fairly sizeable amount of fighting and action, too! Action served in a crispy golden-brown crust, at that.

But enough of this sizeable testimony. Assuming I'll be on board for the next episode, I'll promise with Newgrounds as my witness, I shall do my best to help make the next episode an audible pleasure for everyone.

Erm...

Something went wrong when I tried reviewing this entry, so what I wanted to write for this movie ended up appearing in the comments to "Skittles 'n Shitz" instead.
Sorry about that one - both to the creators of that movie as well as this one. Moments like this make me wish people were able to edit or delete their reviews here.

In a nutshell - kind of predictable movie. It's allright, but the fandom wankage leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Way too one-sided.

That was... kind of boring to watch, really. The battle was way too one-sided in Cloud's favor - Sonic didn't even attempt to make a single move before getting hit by Cloud's "I'll use two frames of animation looped over and over again" attack and turning into Super Sonic afterwards. One or two beams later, Cloud chops him in half just like that.
So... he slices into him a good 20-30 times and it does nothing, then SUDDENLY he cleaves him in half?

Sorry, dude. I guess you're decent enough to stay in the portal with this, but you could've done much better. Next time you try and make a "HEY THIS GUY SHOULD FIGHT THIS OTHER GUY" flash, don't make it so obvious which character you prefer out of the two - try and make it a bit of an even fight at first.

That's pretty neat.

It's a bit self-satisfying I suppose, but at least it's well executed. =P
Besides, I could learn a few pointers on how to shade from this flash, that's for sure. o_O;

Heh! This was hilarious. XD

Funny outtakes, my favorite was "strong suck". XD
I really liked your use of those little drawn facial expressions on the regular sprites, that was a funny touch. =P

All it needs now is a scene select option, really.
That, and I'm personally not too keen on fart jokes - but that's just personal preference, really.

This is freaking WIN, GOD and AWESOME.

I'm gonna HAVE to add this one to my favs.
And I'm gonna watch it again.

AGE! AGE! FOR THE LOVE OF TEH REI, AGE!

Very nice!

Nice job, sprites were pretty good (even though the way Monster Cassandra looked while walking sorta looked weird), good choice of music, and I liked the hidden movie.

On a side note; while watching the movie, my eye caught something in the main window that made me laugh - I got your 1337th vote. XD
Sorry, things like that just make me laugh.

Smooth preview.

Well now. You managed to whip up something rather decent, there.
Nice job on the voices, Sprite work looks allright, and hey - you've got my interest in wanting to see the full thing, too.
Just promise me that you're not gonna write in a character of your own as that boyfriend for Amy you mentioned.
People doing that are so freaking lame. X_X

...But hey, I didn't come here to rant about that. Nice job, and keep up the good work. =P

Sparx-1 responds:

Thanks for the compliments! And I'm not telling yet who amy's new BF is, may or may not be a dude I made up, and it won't be NiGHTS...

Hey, much better!

Quite useful tutorial, that. The expressions and hands in particular, will certainly come in handy.

And hey, you're from the Netherlands too? =P
'Sup!

RenBB responds:

Yeah im chill, sup with you? :P thanks for the review

Whahahaha!

Geez... So simple looking, and yet so freaking hilarious....
I'm a big fan of random humor, and it's been a long time since I've seen it being executed correctly (as in: something significantly wittier then mere screamage of "PIE", "TOM JONES" or "I NEED SCISSORS, 61!").
Loved this, definately gonna check out the other ones.

Hey, I'm H Hog. I'm not too skilled in using Flash itself, but I dabble in some voicework for a few popular cartoons, mostly Sonic-related. You may have heard my voice in stuff like International Moron Patrol, Waffle X, or Frobman's Sonic in Brief series.
