Unbiased review lol?
Hi, it's me, the voice actor for Bob Havaar.
Let me say now, I'm very sorry about the less-then-spectacular job I did on some of the voices. I'm not sure if I really did a better job in episode 1, but if you guys say so...!
Particularly the battle sequence I could have done better on. I initially had more clips done for it, but the way Luckett went with it now works much better then the stuff I initially sent in.
I have little excuse for my blatant display of amateurism, other then that the wide array of lines was done over a large period of time, during differing states of mood and wellness.
Now that that's out of the way... That's some freaking awesome animation, right guys?
To remark on some reviews given; I noticed a lot of complaints were given on the voice; well, as I already said before, sorry about that. I'll do better next time.
Other remarks I noticed was about the lack of Episode 1's comedy.
Now, while I agree that episode 1 was indeed much more funny then episode 2, I feel it's also fair to state that, certain one-liners aside, episode 2's aim wasn't really based on comedy as much as action.
If I have to give an example, I suppose the series should be taken much like the often-compared-with Dragonball Z. While I'm imagining the focus of Waffle X will indeed be well more humorous then DBZ has been, please keep in mind that it'll be focusing on a fairly sizeable amount of fighting and action, too! Action served in a crispy golden-brown crust, at that.
But enough of this sizeable testimony. Assuming I'll be on board for the next episode, I'll promise with Newgrounds as my witness, I shall do my best to help make the next episode an audible pleasure for everyone.
